IB&M – UET once again proves its mark in terms of quality education provided at the institute, as one of its brightest students, Miss Asra Naz of BBA Fall-12-008 – section B participated in Global Clean Tech Innovation Program (GCIP) in association with United Nations Industrial and Development Organization (UNIDO). She presented the idea of establishing a company responsible for making hybrid bike “Bolt”. The contest was pretty competitive as she competed with 55 teams across Pakistan and standout as most promising women lead business team by winning prize of US $15000 (to actually convert idea into reality) and sponsored trip to Silicon Valley, San Francisco – California. Sharing her views, Ms. Asra managed to thank few people in her words saying “I would like to thank my team for the consistent motivation and assistance throughout the project, TICK (dept at UET) for introducing me to this program with step by step procedural guidance and great mentor from IB&M Mr. Ali Abbas.In response to this achievement, the whole IB&M faculty is extremely pleased and aims to continue its effective mentoring methodologies so as to prepare students for international competitive environment.
